GHOSTWRITER

I WRITE BOOKS FOR BUSY PEOPLE

As a knowledgeable professional and business owner...

...you may have thought about writing a book to share your expertise. Yet, finding the time to begin is a challenge. It's easy to see why. After all, you’re busy managing your business.

As a writer, I've worked in television. I've created an award-winning short film. And I also led a global publishing project that raised £10,000 for Haiti earthquake victims. Now, as a ghostwriter, I work with busy professionals like you to write nonfiction books to boost their message and build trust.

What is a Ghostwriter?

Many nonfiction books you've enjoyed were likely ghostwritten. What this means is that the person credited as the author partnered with a ghostwriter to help write their book. This is true for bestsellers and self-published books. It's common practice for professionals short on time to team up with a ghostwriter. For example, I recently worked with a small business owner to turn workshop notes and materials into a 25,000-word book. Like many busy professionals, this person needed to focus on running their company rather than writing. This project also shows how something as simple as workshop notes and a PowerPoint presentation can be the basis for a book for a wider audience.

Book Writing

Your book doesn't have to be a massive project that takes years to complete and fills hundreds of pages. It should be just the right size to match your goals.I specialize in writing quick-impact, standard, and full-length nonfiction books for digital and print publication.

Quick-Impact Books

10,000 Words

A reader can easily finish a quick-impact book of 10,000 words in one sitting. This size is ideal for quickly sharing knowledge and introducing a few straightforward ideas to busy readers. It's also a great way to test the market without investing too much money and resources in a larger project. A quick-impact book typically takes between 4 and 6 weeks to write, depending on its range and purpose.Quick-impact books are an ideal format for e-books or downloadable PDFs straight from your website.

Standard E-book

25,000 Words

A standard e-book, usually around 25,000 words, offers the space to explain your ideas in greater detail. It's an ideal length for self-publishing and selling on platforms like Amazon, Apple, and Google Books.
With a writing time of about 12 weeks, a standard e-book offers readers excellent value at a manageable length.

Full-length book

50,000 Words

A full-length book is about 50,000 words and allows readers to thoroughly explore complex topics and gain in-depth knowledge. A book of this length takes between 6 and 8 months to write, depending on its scope and focus.
This length is also well-suited for self-publishing in digital or print format. And a full-length book is a good length for submission to independent or mainstream publishers.
